Exploring Belfast’s Street Art

I love seeing artwork as I walk about, and Belfast has an abundance of it. I was tired of hearing about politics and battles and history, so I decided yo walk around and find the street art on a rainy day.

I downloaded an app called Street Art, and it showed me where others had previously spotted murals on walls, utility boxes, and gates in the city.  So, using this as my guide, I set off to explore different landmarks.

A fair bit of street art seems to be from Hit the North 2024, which covered up many pieces from the previous year. https://www.seedheadarts.com/street-art/htn24

It is a yearly event, so the artwork will be different every year. Artists come from all over the world, so the topics and styles are varied.
