I love being new places and seeing new things, meeting people, and eating amazing food. The battle is getting there.
Planes are great for getting places quicker, but sometimes, the routes and planes themselves make no sense. I mean, I’m heading off to Argentina to spend a month on water and land.
Argentina is huge. Throw in Chile, Uraguay, the Falkland Islands, and Antarctica, and there is a lot of travel to get around.

Even getting there is ridiculous. Flights are so expensive, so I chose the quickest but cheapest route I could. The flight plan had me go Calgary to Dallas for the first flight. I left at 6:35 am, which meant I was up by 3:30am.

Flight number 2 had a 1 hour transfer to bring me from Dallas up (yes, the wrong direction) to New York.

A 3 hour layover to get on my third and final night flight from New York to Buenos Aries. There was a weather warning in effect, but luckily it didn’t happen so the flights left on time. You don’t get fed anymore on planes, either. I grabbed sandwiches for lunch and dinner at the airports.

Forget about a luggage allowance. Considering the cost of the flight, I really should’ve gotten a checked bag. Instead, I crammed a months worth of stuff into my carry-on. I’ll let you know later if that’s a success or failure.

What do you think about traveling? Is it worth it?
Just a FYI for those following the saga, I have not received any refund from the canceled cruise as of yet. I am hoping Ville Vie Residences will really be a go im May.
